\u201eClub leader\u201c Koch replies with a reader\u2019s letter: that the club has been unsuccessfully applying for extensions for 14 years. Only a month later the Amt f\u00fcr Leibes\u00fcbungen (office for sports) makes a proposal which is accepted by the building and financial authority. In August 1933 the construction works begin \u2013 this, although the St. Pauli Turnverein was having (Mitspracherecht) for the area used.<\/p>\n

Although the Turnverein (in contrast to the FC St. Pauli), in the eyes of the Nazis \u2013 took a role mode stance in 1933 by adding the most strict version of the \u201eArierparagraphen\u201c (Aryan paragraph) to its uniform statutes, its protest is ignored. \u201eThe FC St. P. will build its stands and the St. P.-T.V. will have to accept this new arrangements.\u201c<\/p>\n

Even when FC St. Pauli is denied a building permission for a dressing house in 1935, an advantageous solution is found fort he club swiftly (the takeover of a utility house of the Heiligengeistfeld ice skating parlour). While FC St. Pauli plays on a new lawn pitch with freshly renovated dressing room from 1936 on, the St. Pauli-Turnverein hast o leave its gym to \u201eK\u00fchne & Nagel\u201c shipping company which uses it as wheat storage.<\/p>\n
