\u00a0<\/strong>Did FC St. Pauli provide a safe haven in the storm of national socialism?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The fate of the Lang brothers shows that this was not the case. The two brothers from a Jewish family, founders of the Rugby department at FC St. Pauli \u2013 whose teams won numerous championships and is today the oldest, non-football playing department of the club \u2013 survived the “Third Reich”.<\/p>\n

The club, to our knowledge, however, did not do anything to save them.<\/p>\n
